On Saturday, February 24th, Senior Ethan Smith performed a concert with the All-State Mixed Choir in Wichita as a conclusion to the Kansas Music Educators Association Annual Workshop. Ethan was in rehearsals starting at 10am on Thursday and averaging around 8-9 hours of singing a day to prepare several pieces of music with the group. While he was attending rehearsals, Mrs. Crane, her husband, and Junior Dylan Miller were experiencing a magnificent amount of workshops, concerts, and getting to connect with colleges and other music professionals. In addition to so much music making, they also were able to enjoy great local restaurants and plenty of fun conversation!

The HHS Forensics team will be hosting their home meet on March 21. The team is in need of judges. By helping the team, you are going to receive an evening of FREE entertainment, a FREE meal, and FREE snacks. You will see some of the best high school performers in NE Kansas. You will see state qualified performers. This is all for FREE. All the team needs is your time to help judge. Without judges, students in NE Kansas could not compete. You might say you do not know what you are doing. Don't worry. We have that covered. There will be a judges meeting at 3:30. We need 30 judges for finals alone. Please consider donating your time to the HHS Forensics meet. Please contact Coach Angela Bush at busha@usd430.org for more information.
