HHS students competed successfully at state in the KSPA (Kansas Scholastic Press Association) competition. Freshman Emma Sampson won 2nd place in sports feature photography and 4th place in academic photography. Senior Cooper Strube won 4th place in feature writing.

EMS track teams travel to Jackson Heights today for a 2:00 track meet. Good Luck Chargers!
Congratulations to Brooklyn Dvorak. She is the 2026 2A State Champion in Poetry. She also placed third in Impromptu speaking. Our forensics team traveled to Sedgwick High School for the state meet this weekend.
Curtis Hammersmith placed 15th overall with a score of 84 at Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Topeka. A solid performance with plenty of season still ahead!
