Last week, while students enjoyed their Presidents’ Day off, our teachers were hard at work learning and growing! Professional learning sessions focused on dyslexia awareness, trauma-responsive practices, and Indigenous 101 to better support all students. A special thank you to Nate McAlister with Kansas State Department of Education, Yale Taylor from Topeka Public Schools USD 501, and Kenny St. Pierre with the University of Kansas for sharing their expertise and helping our staff continue to grow in ways that directly benefit our students.
