If you would like to purchase a snack bag for yourself or for a student the last day will be December 13 so I can get them bagged up and see how many I need. They are $10.00 a piece. See Mrs. Hayden is you have questions.


Attention Senior Parents/Students – FAFSA night that was scheduled for December 4th is being rescheduled due to applications not being available on the government website until December 31st now. The new date for this event is January 8th at 7PM in Room 208 at Horton High School.

Attention: EMS 6-8 weight lifting after school has a new schedule . 6-8 student will lift weights 2 days a week, Tuesdays and Fridays after school until 4:30

The EMS girl's basketball team travels to Oskaloosa tonight for a 4:30 game. Order of games (B- 1/2 C-A) Good luck lady Chargers!

There will be a Senior Parents Meeting this Wednesday, Nov 29, in the HHS Commons at 5:30 p.m.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sixth grade. continued--We rounded out the days by creating artful fall season trees and celebrating the day today with a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving complete with popcorn, pretzels, jelly beans, and toast.





The sixth grade at EMS spent the last 10 school days learning and practicing gratitude. They created a chain of links, each one with something for which the students are grateful...parents, pets, food, warm beds, kittens, ponies, honeybees, teachers, and so much more.






Everest Middle School Student Council helped prepare bags for Horton's Night of Lights.
