5th grade field trip to the Pony Express Museum
Thank you Charger PTO for the 5th grade field trip to St. Joe today. We enjoyed the Pony Express Museum, Planetarium, the Walter Cronkite Museum, and fishing at the pond.
Parents, family and friends - Join us this Friday, May 10, for COMUS Night. This is an evening of food, fun, recognition and awards. There will be a meal from 5:30 - 6:30. The meal is $7/plate and includes a Pulled Pork meal, drink and dessert. The Charger Booster Club has generously purchased the meal tickets for all Horton HS students. Come and join us as we celebrate the many accomplishments and announce scholarship winners for this year. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. All HS students will be recognized. #ChargeOn!

HHS Spring Athletic Practice & Organizations: All after-school activities at the high school will end @ 4:30 today. All Students will be sent home at this time due to the potential of severe weather.
EMS Track practice: Due to potential severe weather this afternoon, practice has been canceled for tonight at EMS.
Congratulations to the HHS Forensics team after completing a very successful season. The team traveled to Wichita to compete on Saturday at State Champs. Brooklyn Dvorak finished 9th in the state in Humorous Solo Acting and Garrett Pennington finished 12th in the state in Extemp. As a team, they finished 16th out of 33 schools.
HHS Golf: Due to the threat of severe weather this afternoon & this evening, the JV Golf Tournament @ Mission Lake Golf Course has been canceled. Everyone stay safe tonight.
