We are looking for 2 people that would be willing to line judge 3 varsity volleyball matches tomorrow September 24th, at our home volleyball games. Please contact Reid Greaser - greaserr@usd430.org if you are willing to help out. Games are at 5, 6, and 7.
Everest Middle School will be going to the homecoming parade on Friday, September 27, at the four corners in downtown Horton. Following the parade, ALL students will go to busses to check out (even if they are going with parents) with their assigned teachers. The busses will be located at the Blue Ribbon Diner parking lot.

🚨Homecoming Parade Announcement🚨
6th-grade students ended the week with reading games. They focused on reinforcing essential reading skills. We played comprehension games to identify key details, make inferences, and practice vocabulary. We also played chess, which helped us develop strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
The time has come... "Let's GLOW, Chargers! We are going to have a full week of NEON spirit! To get us started., Monday is "The Future is Bright in South Brown County!" Students should dress for college, career, or their future!
Lady Chargers take home 4th place in the Hiawatha Tournament!

This year at HES, our students have taken on various LEADERSHIP roles throughout the school. They're able to pick the role they would like to fulfill, give back, and show Charger pride. Here are a few pictures from this week.
Mrs. Thorson's 1st Grade class and Mrs. Holzey's 4th Grade class are classroom buddies this year and got to meet today! This is a great way to build relationships and allow for leadership opportunities within the building! We are looking forward to many fun times this year!
