Senator Jerry Moran made an unexpected stop at Horton High School for a brief visit and tour to learn more about the exciting things happening within our school.
He was very complimentary of our student tour guides—Seniors Carly Hutfles and Dalton Nioce, and Junior Tori Jelks—who proudly represented our school. Senator Moran was also impressed by the active and engaged students in every room he visited.
It was an honor to host Senator Moran, and we look forward to welcoming him back in the future.

We would like to do a send off for the high school football team before they leave for their game on Thursday against St. Mary's Colgan. The team will leave the football field around noon then head west on 12th street to 1st Ave then south to 8th St then back north on Central Ave then to highway 73 then out of town. We would love to see the community lined up along the route for a send off for the team.
