HES students and staff...remember to wear your Blue on Monday, October 7 to Kick Off Bullying Prevention Month.

Charger classes of 2031 through 2037 participated in Lil Charger cheer camp today! 📣These ladies and gentlemen will have another practice this week before cheering and performing at halftime of next Friday's Charger football game! 💙🤍


High School ran hard today at Centralia Lake! Ryland Boykin, Aiden Jamvold, Kansas Keo, and Alexis Crawley all got personal records for this year! Way to go Chargers!!


Sixth-grade students with perfect attendance in September were rewarded with pancakes.






Toast Tuesday, started by Mrs. Charla Becker, continues on.







Student Council led the first pep assembly of the year at Everest Middle School. The fall sports teams were introduced, and students practiced their power clap.

VB is competing at the VF tournament, while CC will be running at Centralia!



HHS Football travels to Riverside tonight!


EMS volleyball and football practice will let out at 5 pm today. The busses will be in Horton to drop the bus riding athletes off around 5:15 pm.

EMS will be hosting the NEK League Volleyball tournament on Saturday, October 5 at the Horton High School gym. Pigtail games begin at 8:00am. NO Passes will be accepted!! EMS plays McLouth at 8:00am. Go Chargers!


There will be NO JV volleyball games on Tuesday 10/8. Varsity will still play as normal.

There will be NO JV football game on Monday 10/7

On Friday October 4th, our 2nd graders will travel to Remington Nature Park for their field trip. The bus will leave at 9 and will return before the end of the school day. Please provide a sack lunch and dress your child appropriately for an outdoor field trip. Please contact HES or your child's teacher with any questions.

A great group of students had the opportunity to attend Manufacturing Day organized by Sabetha Chamber of Commerce giving students the opportunity to explore career paths in manufacturing and related industries. Students were led on detailed plant tours through Wenger Manufacturing, Northwind Technical Services, Extru-Tech, and Coperion giving them a great look into what a career path in manufacturing would entail.

EMS travels to Jackson Heights tonight. Volleyball at 4:30 B-C-A. Football at 6:30. Go Chargers!!
