Members of the 6th-grade student council distributed books collected during the Title I Chili Supper. The donated books were used to refill Little Libraries throughout the community, helping provide students and families with reading opportunities throughout the summer.

As a conclusion to the pop tab collection, students from Everest Middle School proudly delivered three 5-gallon buckets full of pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas in Topeka.
This project, inspired by the book How Full Is Your Bucket?: Positive Strategies for Work and Life, allowed students to make a positive impact on families in need while demonstrating kindness, teamwork, and community service. We will continue this project next year, so please save your tabs.

Curtis Hammersmith shot an impressive 86 to place 9th and qualify for the state golf tournament! Curtis will compete at Quail Ridge Golf Course in Winfield next week. Congratulations and good luck at state!
