USD 430 hosted a visitor from Kansas State University the week of Jan 9-13. Sydney Smith, a freshman Music Education major, completed her Early Field Experience course by job shadowing Mr. Vittetoe and Ms. McManus. She observed classes, asked questions, sorted, copied, and distributed music, taught small groups, conducted a few ensembles, attended the home basketball game, as well as many other duties to get a taste of what being a music teacher, and more specifically and band director, is like. She did a great job and we wish her the best in her continued studies.

This week in USD 430...
