2nd Graders finished up their unit on matter by adding a liquid to a solid and creating a gas....root beer floats! Yum! 







Last night was Senior Night at Charger Field.  We had the opportunity to celebrate the work these young men and women have put in during their high school years.









HHS Football: Next week's game will be played @ Maur-Hill on Thursday, October 26th @ 6:00pm.
It's Regional Race Day for our Charger Cross Country Team!  Our team will be running at Council Grove at 11:45 AM.

HES staff and students will be participating in the Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days from October 23 - October 27. It's never too early to start the conversation with your child(ren) about the dangers of substance use. 

EMS girls basketball team will have practice Friday from 3:45-4:50
The EMS Girl's basketball team has a home game against Valley Falls this afternoon at 4:30.  There will be 2 1/2 games (B-1/2 C-A)  Good luck lady Chargers!

Volleyball Seniors were honored last night!  




Even though the EMS Cross Country season officially ended on October 2, Sumner Wilburn, Colton Shirley and Thatcher Strube wanted to continue training for one last meet of the year.  Yesterday at Jackson Heights, Thatcher placed 1st!!  Now that's dedication!!  Go Chargers

Congratulations to the Charger Cross Country team for earning 3rd at the Jackson Heights Invitational! 
Sr Cooper Wischropp medaled for 7th place & Fr Ryland Boykin for 15th. 
Boykin, Fr Jonas Crismas, Fr Aiden Jamvold, Soph Jadince Gutierrez, & Jr Trent Lockwood all had PRs!
