March student of the month Dacey Callahan This student is an excellent student in the classroom and cares greatly about how she performs in all of her subjects. She cares about other students and is empathetic towards others when that student just needs a person to listen to them. She supports her friends and other students around her. She is active in her clubs and she is an excellent role model for those around her.

March Faculty of the month Mrs. Campbell I believe that this teacher deserves faculty of the month because of the positive attitude she has everyday. She encourages her students to always have a good attitude even if they are going through the worst. She is always a great person to talk to and never will tell you that she doesn’t have time to help. She does her best to help in any way she can. She has the most caring heart and will do anything and everything to do her best for her students. Even if her life is stressful you won’t even know because she has a positive attitude about it. She makes sure that her students are ready to compete for club competitions and makes sure her sponsored club is running smoothly by the right people. She is one of the best faculty members in the district and deserves to be recognized.

Aubrey Thomas, Brooklyn Dvorak, and Veida Liggett participated in the recent Kansas History Day Contest. This contest is a platform for students to show their research on a topic in History. The theme for the topics changes every year, this year's theme was significant changes in history. The group's project was about the Civilian Conservation Corp during the 1930s. The Civilian Conservation Corp was a New Deal Program to which young men (high school age) joined up. It gave them some money to send home, a warm bed, and three square meals a day. The group competed in the senior group, did well, but just missed out making the next level.
