Horton Elementary is excited to invite you to our Super Reader Family Night on Tuesday, September 10th from 5:00 to 6:30. The Scholastic Book Fair will also be open. We hope to see you there!


The Scholastic Book Fair will take place at Horton Elementary School from September 9th to September 13th. The fair will be open daily from 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm, and will also be open during our Family Night on Tuesday, September 10th. The event is open to students, families, and members of the community.

Cooper Moss, 3rd Grade student at HES was Caught Being Kind. Congratulations! The Caught Being Kind Award is a student-led initiative at HES. Students are encouraged to "Tootle" on their peers rather than "Tattle" on their peers.


Lady Charger volleyball starts out the season winning 2-0 against JCN and 2-0 against Riverside. Good job girls!

Tonight's volleyball game's against Riverside and JCN will be in Elwood, Riverside Elementary Gym, 204 N 12th Street. We will play the second and third matches. Our first match will start at approximately 6:00pm. Go Chargers!!
