THIS IS OUR WHY 💙
On Friday, January 10, 2025, our 5th/6th graders had the incredible opportunity to hear from EMS/HHS alumni about their post-high school journeys. Maliyah Soto, Isabelle Gaskell, Shiannah HornedEagle, Carley Hammersmith, Desiree Madere, Clarissa Jamvold, Chandler Newman, Ethan Miller, Ethan Smith, Jack Allen, Cooper Wischropp, and Kaden Smith shared their stories about college life, their majors, and career goals. 🎓✨
When reflecting on what skills from 5th & 6th grade continue to support their success today, these alumni emphasized skills like time management, the ability to work hard, and meeting deadlines. They also highlighted how the lessons, including the songs taught in class, still resonate with them! 🎶
Our alumni remember how their teachers believed in their potential and pushed them to succeed, reinforcing that the foundation laid here is still helping them thrive. 🙌
These stories are a reminder of the lasting impact we can have by focusing on essential life skills that will serve our students throughout their lives. 💪 #FutureLeaders #ChargeOn #EMSAlumni #WhyWeTeach
