HOCO Candidate Assembly was held today at HHS! Thanks to the band and cheer for putting on a great assembly. Candidates were introduced, games were played, band performed, and Charger Cheer lead the students! AND everyone had a little fun!
Congratulations to our Spirit Week winners: Lani and Maddy for Twin Day, Julia for Back to the Future, and Mrs. Collins for School of Rock! Two more days, two more winners!
FINALLY, a big shout out to the Junior class for winning that SPIRIT STICK!

Yesterday was National IT Professional Day! Even though we missed the day -- we are thankful for Andrew Jones each and every day! Some of the things that Andrew tackles on a weekly basis -- installation of technology for teachers, wifi set up for all buildings, and keeping up with all of our students technology, teacher laptops, and on and on and on! Thanks Andrew for everything that you do each day!

Horton High School Taher staff is serving up a sub sandwich for a delicious Friday Lunch!

It's Thursday, and that means GAME DAY for the EMS Chargers!! Tonight, we host McLouth for Volleyball and Football. The round ball flies at 4:30 and the pigskin at 6:30.
The volleyball coaches continue to have high expectations while improving on fundamentals.
The football team is ready to hit someone other than their teammates after a 2 week practice grind.
Wyatt Chartier stated, "We haven't been able to play an opponent for 2 weeks and we are ready! Watch for Jahvon Kahbeah to perform well tonight, he's worked hard in practice and I feel like he's going to have a big game."
