It's Game Day, Chargers!

Today, HHS students had the opportunity to attend the 2025 Virtual Healthcare Day where local professionals in Kansas walked them through different healthcare careers. Students got to see what "a day in the life of" consists of for each profession, schooling required to obtain that position and the many different avenues a student could take to get there. Each profession gave advice to high school students on how they can prepare now for these careers in healthcare as well as numerous scholarship opportunities, mentor programs, internships, etc that are available to them in Kansas!

HES hosted an all-school event called NED's Resiliency Ride. We trust your student was encouraged by the show which inspires everyone to become Champions at school and in life!
NED yo-yos will be available for purchase from January 30 - February 5 to support the free show and message. If you need another order form, just let your teacher know.
If you'd like additional resources, they are available here. http://www.thenedshow.com/parents.html
