Thanks to Atchison Public Schools for hosting this morning! Hearing Dr. Joe Sanfelippo's message was AMAZING and a great kickoff to the 2022-23 school year! Staff have a couple more days to prepare, then we will see everyone back at school next week!

EMS - Back to School Night is from 530-7 pm on Monday, August 15 for grades 5-8. There will be a 5th grade parent meeting from 6pm - 6:15pm in Smith/Barnhill rooms. 5th graders can drop off their supplies before or after the meeting. At 6:15pm-630pm there will be a Band meeting for all 5th grade students and parents.

Building secretaries are starting to call families that haven't completed registration. We are finding that a large number have completed parts of registration, but not all.
Be sure that you complete -- "Online Registration" and "Documents" -- both found on the Infinite Campus website. Next fill out the Transportation Form and Athletic/Activities Forms if they apply to your children.

The new handrails were being installed at the highschool today! Plus concrete was poured this afternoon at the elementary school!
HHS and EMS Cheerleading parents meeting will be Tuesday August 9 at the high school. It will follow the volleyball and cross country meeting. Go Chargers
The Lady Chargers Volleyball Team did several things this summer preparing for the 2022 season including summer league in Holton and team camp at NW Missouri State. We hope to see everyone at the Fall Sports information meeting on Tuesday, August 9 at 6:30 pm at the HHS Auditorium.

Bond Project Update: This week several steps were made towards the completion of projects. Each day is one step closer. Pictures from around the high school.
The custodians along with the summer workers are doing an amazing job getting rooms cleaned! Over the last few weeks they have been working together at all the buildings. The classrooms are looking great!
We are still looking for a JOM Assistant.
School starts in a little over a week! Have you enrolled your student, yet?
Schedules are being worked on - for busses, students, and teachers. If you haven't enrolled your child, it is possible they will lose their schedule and won't have a bus to ride the first week of school.
Enrollment is online with 3 parts -- Infinite Campus (addresses, birthdates, etc.), Documents (health records, emergency consent, technology, etc.), and Transportation/Athletic/Activities signup.
If you need assistance - all buildings secretaries can assist in the enrollment process, as can board office personnel.
