The sixth grade had an activity day for Earth Day, recognizing the quality of our vast earth. Pictures include some favorite pets and animals, planting seed plants, creating a baking soda earth, and doing a watercolor painting of earth.

Eight grade student, Wyatt Doty, achieved a weightlifting goal recently of bench pressing more than 250 pounds to earn his membership to the 250 pound "bench club" at Everest Middle School! Congratulations, Wyatt!



Sixth graders are participating in the Adopt-A-Pilot program through Southwest Airlines. Our pilot is Mr. Mitch Gerving. He has flown with Southwest since 2004.

The Everest Middle School 7/8th grade band traveled to Benedictine College on Wednesday April 26 to participate in the 2023 NEKL North Mass Band. Students from 5 schools came together to play 5 preselected songs with Dr. Melissa Sawyer of Benedictine conducting. The EMS students did an outstanding job representing our district!

Mr. Hirch's World History class took a hands-on approach to learn the difference between having line-to-line warfare and using trench warfare during WW1.





The HHS drama club took a trip on April 23rd to watch Little Women at Theatre Atchison.




The Everest Middle School 7th & 8th Grade Band will be performing in the NEKL North Mass Band at the Auditorium in John Paul II Hall on the Benedictine College campus at 1:30 pm today. Parents and family are invited to attend.
