Reminder EMS 5th and 6th grade Field Day is Friday May 10 at EMS. 6th 9:30-11:30 Lunch 11:30-12:00 for (students, parents and grandparents) provided by Charger PTO. 5th grade 12:15-2:15.
7th grade took a Field Trip to Lecompton, further examining Kansas history.




The "shop-students" installed the shop-made signs in Willis today. Little known fact that great, great, great great grandpa of Trenton and Piper was the namesake for the town of Willis.


HHS Track: Good luck to the HHS Track Team as they travel to JCN High School for the NEKL League Track Meet today starting @ 3pm.
HHS Baseball: Good luck to the HHS Baseball Team as they travel to Mission Valley to take on Republic Co. in the 1st round of the Regional Baseball Tournament starting @ 2pm today. Address for the Field is: 12913 Mission Valley Road, Eskridge, KS 66423.

5th grade field trip to the Pony Express Museum









Thank you Charger PTO for the 5th grade field trip to St. Joe today. We enjoyed the Pony Express Museum, Planetarium, the Walter Cronkite Museum, and fishing at the pond.










Parents, family and friends - Join us this Friday, May 10, for COMUS Night. This is an evening of food, fun, recognition and awards. There will be a meal from 5:30 - 6:30. The meal is $7/plate and includes a Pulled Pork meal, drink and dessert. The Charger Booster Club has generously purchased the meal tickets for all Horton HS students. Come and join us as we celebrate the many accomplishments and announce scholarship winners for this year. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. All HS students will be recognized. #ChargeOn!

In anticipation of the warmer (even hot) weather for our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade field day tomorrow, PLEASE send a labeled and filled water bottle with your student!! We will have some water for refills.
Feel free to bring camp chairs and umbrellas to provide extra comfy seating and shade. See you soon!
