We are having a FAFSA Workshop for Seniors and Parents/Guardians this Wednesday (Dec. 1st) at 6:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m in the high school library. Please enter through the south door on the first floor. We will be using the Going Merry FAFSA Made Easier form and it will really help streamline this process. Please make sure to bring your chromebook and parent/guardian with you to the workshop. To fill out the form in full, you will need to have your parent/guardian with you and/or have access to the following forms/information: 2020 tax forms (1040 Form, W-2, 1099, Schedule 1/2/3 if applicable) Bank Statements and records of investments (if applicable) Student & parent social security numbers. Please come join us and get this important part of college preparation taken care of!

The Horton Elementary students collected donations for the local food pantry. They had a competition between our school teams to see which team donated the most items. The winning team was "The Awesome Pink Ally's" by collecting 516 items. Team members are Mrs. Curry's preschoolers, Mrs. Alyssa Hisle's kindergarteners, Mrs. Wischropp's 2nd graders and Mr. Harper's 4th graders. The total donated to the food pantry was 1,418 food items. What an amazing success. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Today we had 2 wonderful assemblies for Native American Heritage Month! Native Chef Jason Champagne gave a wonderful speech about his life along with an awesome cooking demonstration. Then, HHS Alumni Nicole McReeves came back and spoke about growing up here and what amazing thing she has accomplished. Both speakers spoke at EMS and HHS!
