Montanna Hutchinson, HHS Junior, has created a project to benefit youth in our Charger community. "Blessed Baskets" are Easter Baskets that are given to young children in families in need. Example items in the baskets are toothbrushes/toothpaste, wind-up toys, and sidewalk chalk. If you are interested in helping Montanna, she has an Amazon Wish List that you can order from: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2P1V7486AYD9Q?ref_=wl_share Or you could contact her directly to make a monetary donation - hutchinsonm2023@usd430.org

5 HHS students attended the Kansas State University Indigenous & Native American College Student for a Day program. The students were able to gain information on college admissions & scholarships, as well as some different majors such as business, engineering and education. They also heard from a panel of current indigenous students at K-State, who explained where they came from, how they chose their majors, and how their degrees can help their tribes and other indigenous communities.
