2nd Graders in Mrs. Wischropp’s class have been working on the daily Wordle puzzle together. It’s a fantastic way to practice phonics rules! Today, we used our knowledge that the letter Q has to have the letter U after it to successfully solve the puzzle.

Kansas Family First Family Council is looking for potential members.

Just a reminder for all HHS Choir students that you need to be in the music room NO LATER than 6:45am on Thursday, April 14th. Please make sure you are arranging rides if you do not drive yourself! Dress is your uniform if you are in HH or all black if you are not. Thank you!!

I would like to say thanks to all our little league coaches. It amazes me the amount of hours they volunteer to coach our kids. Seeing the parking lot filled with cars and the smiles of little kids playing ball can’t be beat. It would not be possible without people donating their their time, energy and resources. They can’t hear it enough: “Thank You”

Students -- make sure you charge your Chromebooks tonight so they are ready for State Assessments tomorrow. Get a good night's sleep and eat some breakfast in the morning. Do a great job on the assessments! Charge your Chromebooks Chargers!!

Let's keep building great support for all our activities! Remember KSHSAA Sportsmanship/Citizenship - Rule 52 as we build!

a. Be courteous to all (participants, coaches, officials, staff and fans).
b. Know the rules, abide by and respect the official’s decisions.
c. Win with character and lose with dignity.
d. Display appreciation for good performance regardless of the team.
e. Exercise self-control and reflect positively upon yourself, team and school.
f. Permit only positive sportsmanlike behavior to reflect on your school or its activities.

Reminder -- There is a Senior class parent meeting tonight -- 5 PM in the HHS commons.

Horton High School Cheer Tryouts are coming soon!

HHS Band members need to dress nicely (black dress not necessary but OK) for the KSHSAA Large Ensemble Music Festival Thursday, April 14th. Would prefer no jeans, hoodies, etc.
They will need money for eating out.

Softball and Baseball orders from Jock's Nitch will be in by Friday!
