Horton Elementary Participated in the American Heart Association fund drive "Heart Heros". Mr. Nelson our PE Teacher, took the lead and with his guidance the students raised $5,207.15 for the Heart Association. Then Friday 4/22/22 he lead an all school assembly and students who reached a certain level in their donations had the opportunity to give "pies in the face" to Mr. Nelson, Mrs. Burns, or Mrs. Dickman. The students loved this assembly. Our top earner was Mazleigh who raised over $3,000.00! There will be a banner placed in our gym naming the gym after her for the next year! Thank you to everyone who made this such a successful venture for our students and school. 10% of the funds raised will go back into the PE program at the elementary school.
Everest Middle School is hosting the NEKL North Mass Band on Wednesday April 27th. There will be students from 5 middle schools, including EMS, participating in a rehearsal and performance. Dr. Tom Seddon and Dr. Von Hansen will be the clinicians. The concert is at 1:30pm in the EMS Gym. Family members are welcome, and encouraged, to attend.
The Softball game for this evening at Pleasant Ridge has been cancelled. The HS Softball team will practice at Everest as normal. No softball game today at Pleasant Ridge.

Everest Middle School Families are invited to a "Family Game Night"
Parents of next year's 11th and 12th grade students--if you would like your student to attend Highland Vo-Tech Visitation Day please call Marissa at the HS Office. The Visitation Day is Wednesday afternoon on April 27. Please call before Tuesday, April 26 at noon.
The HHS 2022 Prom Servers will be performing at 4:30 PM on Saturday, April 23 at the Horton Blue Building.

SNACK BAGS FOR FINALS MAY 11 and 12
Stuco is going to be selling snack bags for finals which will be full of snacks and a water for $6.00. If you would like to purchase one for a student please send an email to haydenm@usd430.org. and the money to the HS. I would like to have an estimate of how many to make ahead of time. I will have extra on hand for students to purchase on the day of finals.

All shoes and styles are greatly appreciated. They can be toddler shoes, high heels, slippers, flip flops, tennis shoes, etc., as long as they are gently used we will take them. The shoes will be donated to those in need.
Please bring your shoes to the High School Library or the Everest Middle School Library.
