Second Graders Celebrate on TWOSday!
The 2nd Grade teachers had been planning a surprise celebration for Tuesday, February 22, 2022, for quite some time. The ice day on 2/22/22 didn’t slow down the party, which was held the next day. All 2nd Graders walked backwards into the rooms because it’s never too late to celebrate!
Some highlights of the day included reading and math activities based on 2, a school-wide scavenger hunt, shooting baskets for 2 points, guiding drawing of a toucan, and treats like twin pops, Swiss Rolls, and double-stuffed Oreos.
