Concern Chain of Communication

It is important for all patrons of USD 430 to follow the established chain of communication and try to resolve all conflicts at the earliest possible level of management.  A new document has been posted to the district's website that will help find the correct person to speak to.  Using the “Concern Chain of Communication” will help create efficiency when reporting concerns.  You will find this document under the “Parent” tab and on each school’s main page.

Most parental questions are easily and completely answered by communicating directly with the educator in charge of the class or program.  Each situation should first be addressed at whatever level the initial action was taken with appeals moving on to the next level on the chain of communication.  Up-to-date information is also posted regularly on the website and on social media.  However, we encourage community members who want accurate information and personal responses to use email and phone communication.

The Board of Education is the district’s governing body.  It is the job of the members of the board to set policy and to hire a superintendent to manage the district according to these policies.  Please do not skip levels, as each level will send you back to the appropriate level.  We thank you for your cooperation in resolving any and all conflicts.
