Congratulations to Lori Campbell, USD 430 Excellence in Education award winner!
The Excellence in Education Award is sponsored by our local banks in Horton and Everest. This award seeks to encourage and recognize the professional and leadership excellence of USD #430 educators essential for quality education, increase awareness of the positive aspects of education in Kansas, and promote pride in schools and communities.
The individual should be exceptionally skilled, dedicated, and have the ability to inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn. The nominee should have the respect and admiration of students, parents, and colleagues, and should play an active and useful role in the community as well as in the school.
This nominee has gone above and beyond this school year to keep things as normal as possible during the pandemic. Her positive attitude each and every day pushes each student in her class to do their best. She has increased student participation and increased class enrollment numbers. The nominee greets each student with a smile inside and outside of the classroom. This nominee has helped plan, execute, and distribute items needed in our community. She also helps organize and set up community service within her classes. This nominee has spent countless evening hours helping prepare students for competitions. She has also served on State and Regional boards.
The 2020-2021 Excellence in Education winner is Mrs. Lori Campbell.
