Forensics is a KSHAA sponsored activity that involves public speaking and performance events including extemporaneous speaking, informative, oratory, impromptu, poetry, prose , serious solo acting, humorous solo acting, and improve duet acting. Students are allowed to compete in two of these events at a tournament. Students may only attend eight tournaments throughout the competition season. The season begins at the end of January and runs until the beginning of May when State Festival Campion tournaments are held.  Students may only qualify for festival if they receive a 1 rating at regionals.
