![]() Each month, Horton High School, will select a student-athlete of the month. These students selected show effort and excellence in the classroom and the field of play, dedication to the team, leadership, integrity, and the ability to serve as a role model for current and future Horton High School student-athletes. Students selected must:
Craig excels in the classroom and has helped the Chargers achieve a 5-1 record to start the season. Wahwahsuck leads the team in scoring averaging 11.3 points a game and is tied for first in steals, averaging 2.8 per game. He is second on the team in assist to turnover ratio. His efforts on the court and in the classroom are a driving force in the success of the Chargers. Female Student-Athlete of the Month: Kaitlyn McAfee Kaitlyn excels in the classroom and has helped the Chargers achieve a 5-1 record to start the season. McAfee leads the team is scoring averaging 9.5 points per game and is second on the team in rebound at 4.75 per game. McAfee was named the KNZA Athlete of the Week during the first week of December as she netted 18 points in the first game of the season versus Maur Hill.
