On Tuesday, October 18th the Lady chargers had their last regular season game. They played at home against Jackson Heights Cobras (J-Heights) and Immaculata Raiders (Imac). The junior varsity team for the Lady Chargers won against J-Heights in three sets and won against Imac in two sets. The varsity Lady Chargers had some struggles in their first game against the Imac Raiders and lost in two sets, but came back strong for the match against J-Heights to win the match in two sets. Both the junior varsity and varsity played well.
On Saturday, October 22nd the Lady Chargers traveled to Sabetha to participate in sub-state solleyball. The Lady Chargers entered sub-state ranked 4th. The Chargers were in the same bracket as Marysville, Rock Creek, and Nemaha Central. The first game was played against Marysville. The Lady Chargers played a tough game, but lost in three sets. We are proud of our Lady Chargers and their volleyball season. By: Tatum Lockwood
