![]() Students from Highland Community College Technical Center (HCCTC) attended the Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Leadership Conference February 22-24, 2018 in Wichita. Students tested their knowledge in many different business related areas. Student placings include: Basic Office Systems and Procedures 3rd (Kinsey Boller), Administrative Support Team 1st (Kendra Cowley & Kinsey Boller), Banking & Finance 2nd (Kendra Cowley), Fundamental Word Processing 1st (Kinsey Boller). Students that placed first in their events will be traveling to Dallas Texas to attend BPA’s 52st National Leadership Conference, “Dream Bigger,” May 9-13, 2018. They will join thousands of students from across the nation to participate in national level business skills competitions. BPA is a national organization for high school & college students preparing for careers in business and information technology. The organization’s activities and programs complement classroom instruction by giving students practical experience through application of the skills learned at school. BPA is contributing to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills.
