Mr. Cline’s previous experience includes: 3 years as K-5 Principal at Kennedy Elementary School, USD 353; 2 years as Asst. Principal/AD at Schuyler Middle School; 1 year as Asst. Jason graduated from Atchison High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University. He received his Masters of Art degree from Benedictine College and his Superintendent’s license from Wichita State University.
Board President Tim McClaskey says that Mr. Cline emerged from a very thorough search process as the right candidate to lead the District. “The Board is certain in our choice of Jason and feels confident that under his leadership USD #430 will continue to meet its mission of preparing students to be lifelong learners and productive citizens.”
Tim McClaskey Board President, explained that community input, including the involvement of a committee of stakeholders was a key factor in the success of the superintendent search process. The committee included teachers, staff members and administrators, students, parents, and community members. “The input from the community as a whole was very helpful to our process.”
The Board selected three finalists, who were interviewed by the Board.
As a board team we feel we made the right selection to serve our students and our community. We look forward to welcoming Jason and his wife Heather along with their two children Courtney and Carson to our community!
