Art Exhibits and Competitions:
League and regional competitions are mandatory for qualifying students to attend. Art students will enter their artwork(s) into the competition for judging. Art competitions are also comprised of art workshops in various mediums, seminars, and gallery exhibits. Workshops and seminars are conducted by various art professors, seasoned art teachers, and graduate students who currently practice in the fields of Art Education or art professionals.

Calling ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!
Art Club is looking for new members. If you have an interest in the arts, your community or just want to be apart of a high school club then we invite you to join! Our mission is to promote the arts through our school and our community.
Membership is Open to all students and is Free!!
Art Club Mission Statement
The Art Club was organized to promote and encourage the arts and art classes at Horton High School and to encourage art students to develop their individual art talents.
Membership is made up of those who wish to pursue their interests further and to desire to participate in artistic endeavors in the school and community.
Uplifting others and giving back through art with a purpose.
Benefits of Joining the HHS Art Club
The Art Club is open to all interested students who wish to explore the visual arts as a co-curricular activity.
Horton High School Art Club Officers:
A slate of officers will be nominated at the last meeting of the year and voting will be done by the membership. A subsequent vote may be taken in case of a tie. Officer positions include president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and public relations. Eligible officers are chosen from club members with previous years of participation.

- students will use their artistic talents to beautify the school, work on personal art skills, learn new art skills, be creative and fundraisers for the Horton High School Art Department;
